Zone Substation Hazard Analysis – Evaluation Methodology

In this presentation Luke will cover the methodology on how they test and analyse the earthing systems of their zone substations. After conducting a regular CIT, they model the earth in software to correct for test errors, then use a spreadsheet to assess all fault scenarios for compliance to EG-0. The spreadsheet is quite complex and has many functions coded in the backend to do the heavy lifting with calculations.
